General
What happens if I need to drop my class?
If you do not intend on participating in classes for the next month, please inform our front desk as soon as possible so that we may move another child into that spot.
What happens if I miss a payment?
If you miss a tuition deadline, or your credit card has expired or is no longer valid, please inform us immediately. If we do not receive payment by the 1st, we assume you are not continuing with classes and we will open up your child's spot to another child on the wait list.
Can I transfer classes mid-month?
Consistency is key to growth in your child's sport. However, we understand that sometimes schedules change. Mid-month transfers can be done online by logging into your account. Find your current class under enrollments and select transfer. From there, you will be guided to the new class to which you'd like to transfer.
What should I do if I miss a class?
We offer make-up classes that can be scheduled on a different day and time than your regularly scheduled class. Students must be actively enrolled to use make-up, and make-ups cannot be used to extend enrollment. Notifying us in advance of an absence helps open the spot for another student, as most classes are full and waitlisted. Make-ups cannot be rescheduled. Missing a scheduled make-up or canceling it will result in the loss of that make-up. Make-ups expire one year from the date they are issued.
What should my child wear to class?
Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing; leotards are optional. No socks or shoes are allowed on the gym floor. For safety reasons, jewelry, hooded sweatshirts, jeans, belts, zippers, and baggy clothing are not permitted. Long hair should be pulled back; please avoid hard barrettes.
Birthday Parties
Can we reserve a day that does not appear on the website?
If there is a day that is not on the website, it typically means that the party is already booked, or that day is unavailable for some reason (gym maintenance, event, etc.). Please email Katelyn krubio@calelite.com for questions about a specific date.
What should we bring?
Families will need to bring simple decorations for the party area, paper goods (tablecloths, plates, napkins, utensils, cups, etc.), and food/drinks/dessert for their guests.
What kind of decorations can we bring?
Party hosts have a 30 minute window to set up. We ask that you please keep this in mind when selecting items for your party, and just bring decorations that can realistically be set up during this time. Most families bring additional balloons, and centerpieces. You can tape a few things to the wall and windows with limitation. Please no holes or tape that will damage windows and paint or drywall.
Can we bring in our own balloons for Cal Elite to inflate with helium?
Yes! There is an additional fee for the helium, and we can't guarantee that the balloons won't accidentally pop, as we aren't professional balloon inflaters. For regular latex balloons, the cost is $15 for 12 additional balloons. For mylar balloons, the cost is per balloon as they are bigger and require more helium. Typically, they are between $3 and $10 per balloon, depending on the size. If you would like an exact cost, please coordinate to meet with our Party Coordinator and she can estimate a total cost for you.
What about tables?
Three tables and benches will be provided; two 8-foot and one 4-foot rectangular tables.
How much time do we have to setup/decorate?
Our parties run back-to-back each weekend, so access to set up is available 15 minutes before your party begins. During this time, our party coaches will help unload your items and assist with decorating. Please plan decorations that can be completed within the 15-minute set-up window, as additional set-up time cannot be accommodated.
Can we bring in a vendor – ice cream truck, character, face painter, etc.?
Yes! Some vendors are allowed with some limitations. If you wish to contract a vendor, please communicate with us immediately. We will confirm if the vendor is approved and also review the timeline for the day.
Do you have a refrigerator or freezer that we can use?
We do NOT have a fridge/freezer available for party use. If you wish to keep something on ice you can bring small coolers.
Can I have my food delivered to Cal Elite?
Yes! Food can be delivered however we do recommend that it is delivered during set up or before the kids make their way upstairs after play time. Our hostess will communicate when the delivery driver arrives so that you can confirm the order is correct.
Does the building have an elevator?
We do not have an elevator. Staff will help you carry everything upstairs to the party room. Strollers and wagons need to be left downstairs. If there is a guest who needs accommodations, please reach out to our Event Coordinator BEFORE booking your party. We will go over the options we have on the desired party date.
What should the children wear?
Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing; leotards are optional. No socks or shoes are allowed on the gym floor. For safety reasons, jewelry, hooded sweatshirts, jeans, belts, zippers, and baggy clothing are not permitted. Long hair should be pulled back; please avoid hard barrettes.
Can we go back into the gym at the end of the party?
Unfortunately, no. After eating, children are not permitted back on the gym floor to help prevent illness and ensure everyone's safety.
What if I want a longer party? Can I add more time?
We have limited availability in our party program, the only option we have for an extended party would be to reserve the two party slots.
What if I have questions or concerns during my party?
Our Party Hosts are here to help make your celebration run smoothly! Throughout your party, they will be available to answer questions, greet your guests, assist with food deliveries, ensure waivers are completed, and help coordinate with the coaches if any activity changes are possible. If you need anything during your party, simply let one of our Party Hosts know, they're happy to help make your experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
Is it customary to tip the staff?
Gratuity is not included or expected, but it is always appreciated! If you would like to leave a tip for your Party Hosts and coaches, cash is the preferred method.
